The Fort Lauderdale Boat Show got off to roaring start with good attendance on opening day Thursday, October 31, 2001. Following days had mixed attendance but strong sales on the upper end and mixed results on the lower end of the spending profile. Most notable were two large yachts sold by Trinity. Michael Robilio, Ted Banning and Billie Hawkins were all happy with the turnout for the Boat Show booth this year. Marine electronics manufacturers offer special Boat Show discounts to compete for the heavy traffic opportunities. Concord posted these discounts and offered free boat show tickets on their web site this year.
